Uhlenhorster Fahrhaus 1938 pre WW2 Hamburg Restaurant Menu
An interesting item here, a nice lunch menu for Thomas Cook customers visiting the Farhuas (Ferry House) on the Outer Alster in Hamburg. The restaurant as can be seen was a grand, popular and vibrant place prior to WW2 but sadly it was heavily bombed in the war and the ruins were levelled in 1952.
Signed on the back by Sally Bamford and another which I cannot decipher, a reminder of times gone by.
*Condition*
In great condition although age has yellowed the card uniformly, please see the pictures.
