~ North Korean Type Two Order Of Military Merit ~
Here we have a very interesting award that is rarely seen, this is the second type of this medal and was awarded for ten years exemplary service in the North Korean Military or for distuinguished bravery in combat.
This being the second type, instituted in the 1970’s would put it as a 70’s issued or a replacement for one earned beforehand.
The medal shows a right facing North Korean soldier with a battleship, three jets and a North Korean Flag set against a backdrop of a mountain.
The rear bears some Korean Script that is present on all variations of this medal.

The medal is 3 cm in diameter.
The medal weighs 20 g.
~ Condition ~
The medal is in brilliant condition for what it is, the ribbon has been remounted correctly and the image and script are still very crisp.
