Description

This is an antique Fort Elmo Cannonball accompanied by a decorative wooden stand.  This original cannonball originates from the 19th century to commemorate past battle honours in Malta. The cannonball approximately measures 7 inches in width and the stand measures 5 inches width and 8 inches in height. This item can be  paired with item JA_812979997/ Original 19th Century Sevastopol Cannonball and Wooden Stand for an offer of both for £400

*Condition*

The paint of the lettering on the cannonball is mostly clear except of a slight smudging on the name of Malta. Furthermore, there is a slight chip in the metal above the letterings. The wooden stand is in good condition but it does show signs of general aging. There are some minor cracks in the woodwork.
