Description

*Original Finnish M1927 Bayonet & Scabbard by Fiskars*

There are likely only a few hundred original Fiskars M/27 Bayonets left in the world. Fits M1927-M1928/30 and M1939 rifles. Army used model. Serial number 67276 on blade tang. Convex single edged fullered blade with crisp Finnish maker’s name: Fiskars on ricasso. Oil hole in pommel. Horn grips secured to the blade tang by screw bolts, short steel quillon and muzzle ring. Dark blued smooth scabbard with a round frog stud. 298mm blade, 410mm overall.

*Condition*
This rare Finnish original bayonet is in excellent condition with blued blade with no nicks or pitting. The grip has some age related signs of wear and tear with a few minor dings. the press button works well. The original smooth scabbard fits snugly and is in good condition with minor some minor service dings. Please see photographs as part of the condition report.
