Original WW2 British Mk1 Brodie Helmet 1940

The Brodie helmet had been used since 1915 and this particular item is dated 1940. From 1936, the Mark I Brodie helmet was fitted with an improved liner and an elasticated webbing chin strap. This final variant served until late 1940. This helmet has an “S” for small engraved on the inside next to the date and features its original liner and elasticated chin strap.

The helmet is in good condition for its age and usage. There is some damage to the paintwork around the helmet. Liner and strap are still strong and undamaged.
