Description

This is a deactivated German “Schmeisser MP40” from World War 2. The MP40 was developed in Nazi Germany and used extensively by the Axis powers during World War II. The Germans had to simplify production in order to meet their demand for the war and so the MP40 (a simplification of the earlier, MP38) was designed. This particular MP40 is covered in Waffenamt stamps and would have been used during WW2. The gun still cocks and dry fires, the magazine is removable and the stock can be folded and unfolded.

*Condition*

This MP40 is in excellent condition considering its age and usage. It has some minor pitting in certain areas with no significant knocks or scratches. Please see pictures for more detail as they form part of our condition report.
