Description

~ Pair Of English Late Victorian Scene-Painted Vases ~

A fine pair of late Victorian era vases of baluster form with twin handle, featuring scenes of rural life.

The vases are of a burnt orange glaze with gilt detailing and gilt handles.

Both vases feature transfer printed scenes of country cottages with Scottish horned cattle to the front.

They both feature small images of flowers to the reverse.

Both have embossed factory marks to the bases reading ‘Conquest’ along with serial numbers.

~ Dimensions ~

The vases measure 20cm (8 inches) in width, 15cm (6 inches) in depth and have a height of 35cm (13 ¾ inches).

Together they weigh 2.13 Kg.

~ Condition ~

Both vases have a small hairline crack to the rims.

The vases are in a decent condition with some wear in parts but no damages.
