~ Pair Of Silver Pepperette Shakers With Glass Liners Sheffield 1924 ~
This is a lovely matched identical pair of silver shakers.
The pepperettes are urn shaped with finials to the top and pierced sides.They rest on square feet.Both have glass liners, one blue, the other white.
They are both hallmarked to both the base and lid as ‘Sheffield, 1924’ and with the makers mark ‘H.A’ for Atkin Brothers (successors to Henry Atkin).
~ Dimensions ~
The shakers measure 5 inches (13cm) in height and have a diameter at their widest of 1 ½ inches (3.75cm). They weigh 83g (white) and 92g (blue) with liners and 52g each without liners.
~ Condition ~
They are both in really great condition with very little wear or tarnishing. The blue glass liner is slightly too small so is therefore unlikely to be original.
