~ Pair Of Squat Silver Candlesticks ~
A nice pair of short silver candlesticks.
The candlesticks are of squat form with cinched waists and have circular weighted bases.
They have decoration around the circumference of the base edge and they both have a fluted design to the capitals.
The candlesticks do not have a dated hallmark but are both marked as sterling silver.
~ Dimensions ~
The candlesticks each have a base diameter of 7cm (2 ¾ inches) and a height of 7cm (2 ¾ inches).
Together they weigh 295g.
~ Condition ~
One of the candlesticks fluted decoration is a little less defined than the other, probably a case of over polishing, however they still present well as a pair.
The candlesticks are otherwise in a nice condition with only light surface wear and a couple of very minor dings which is quite expected of antique silver
candlesticks.
They have no major damages.
