    Description

This is a pair of trench art bells that have been made using mortar shell casings. Although the shells read “London 1940-41”, the date on both of the fins is shown to be 1942. The dates shown on the face of the shell are likely approximations. The shells stand at around 9 ½ inches and just under 9 inches.

    *Condition*

These mortar shells are in good condition for their ages with general pitting across the surfaces. Please see pictures for more detail.
