This is a rare Poole Pottery round red colour trinket box with pattern of black patches with orange highlights which has been created using Poole's unique technique called "Living Glaze".
Living Glaze involves the application of different glazes that react with one another during the firing process. Each individual piece is unique.
The backstamps are "POOLE POTTERY, ENGLAND" with a dolphin.
