~ Post WW1 His Majestys Transport HMT Bahia Castillo Gilt And Enamel Sweetheart Badge ~
The Kings crown gilt, enamelled badge has a pin to the reverse. It bears the Irish harp and the motto ‘quis separabit’ (translation “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?”).
The Bahia Castillo as a troopship. She was built in 1913 for Hamburg Sud and served as a troopship for the British government from 1919 to 1922. She then went to Hugo Stinnes.

The badge is in fair order. The clasp works well, there is some loss to the enamel.
