The lockplate bears the Kings Crown and the letters ‘G R’ for George Rex, the makers name ‘Farmer’ and the date 1744. The trigger guard has a simple acorn finial.

It comes with its ramrod, possibly the original one.

The leather saddle holster is a double one.

~ Condition ~

The pistol works on full cock with a decent spring. There is no half cock position. The stock is complete without any major loss or cracks, just minor bruising. The brass work has minor knocks, the screws are original. The barrel has some minor pitting and bruising.

The holster is quite worn with some wear and loss such as one of the flaps.

The pistol is 49 cm (19.25 inches) in length with a 30 cm (12 inches) barrel.
