Description

This rare carved sword is an interesting one, with a single edged blade that could be for both cavalry or infantry.

The guard has a basket shaped bar to protect the knuckle.

~ Dimensions ~

The blade is 33 inches (84 cm) long and the overall length of the sword is 40 ½ inches (103 cm).

It weighs 1.16 Kg.

~ Condition ~

This is a river find and the sword is covered in rust and surface patina but the item is complete and fair for its age.
