The vase is of bulbous form in the ‘Moorish’ pattern of silhouetted palm trees and temples on a flambé glaze of red darkening to almost black at the edges.

The vase has various marks to the underside including the ‘Royal Doulton’ stamp with ‘Flambe’ typed below and the pattern name ‘Moorish’ written by hand.

The vase has a diameter of 8cm (3 ¼ inches) and a height of 9cm (3 ½ inches).

It weighs 165g.
