Modelled by D. Lyttleton for Royal Doulton, this is a 1977 porcelain figurine of an osprey with its quarry.
Native to the Scottish Highlands in the summer, this handsome bird of prey fishes for salmon and trout in the lochs and rivers up there and is a fantastic choice of mascot for a Scotch Whiskey.
On the underside of this moulded figurine is the Doulton name alongside the famous distillery name Whyte & MacKay.
