HMS Unicorn was built at Plymouth Dockyard and launched in December of 1747. She was completed in July of 1749. HMS Unicorn served mainly in the Mediterranean and saw active and continuous service during the Seven Years' War. She was paid off in 1763 and was broken up at Sheerness Dockyard in 1771.
