The pair, made from light coloured oak, have large matching ships bronze badges attached to the end made of brass.
The badges depict a mine with two brushes in a X formation sweeping the ocean, depicted below. These are screwed into the wood.

Each end measures 6.5 inches (16.5 cm) deep by 4 inches (10.2 cm) wide and 6.5 inches (16.5 cm) tall. The set weighs 2.76 kg.
~ Condition ~
The wood has extremely minor wear. The pair remain in otherwise good condition.
