~ Silver Model Of HMS Victory ~
Here we have a fine small model of Nelsons’ famous ship HMS Victory cast in silver and very nicely detailed.
The mizzen sale is stamped 925 for Sterling grade silver, just above that is a makers stamp of a ‘M’ in a cartouche.
It is mounted on a wooden base with a silver plaque reading “H.M.S. Victory 1765”.
~ Condition ~
Generally in good order, please refer to the images, but it would benefit from a polish.
~ Dimensions ~
The model (without the stand) is 16.5 cm (6.5 inches) in length and 13.5 cm (5.25 inches) tall.
The base is 16 cm (6.25 inches) wide by 7 cm (2.75 inches) deep.
