A very nicely executed watercolour of sailing boats at sea.

The painting is unsigned but we believe it to be by the Portsmouth born marine artist William Edward Atkins (1842 – 1910).

The painting is mounted and presented in a modern glazed frame.

~ Dimensions ~

The image measures 39.5cm (15 ½ inches) by 27.5cm (10 ¾ inches).

The frame measures 63cm (24 ¾ inches) by 54cm (21 ¼ inches).

It weighs 3.5 Kg.

~Condition ~

The painting has some foxing/discolouration in parts, but a lot of this simply blends into the background.

It is otherwise undamaged and in very good condition.

The frame is in good order.
