~ Victorian Printers Block Of A Three Masted Man Of War ~
The plate is of copper on a green baize backed, wooden block. The plate depicts a three-masted ship with two gundecks.
~ Condition ~
The block is in good order.
~ Dimensions ~
The block is 16.5 cm (6.5 inches) inches wide by 9.5 cm (3.75 inches) deep by 2.5 cm (1 inch) tall.
~ Circa 1850 Gilt Half Horse ~
The piece is a hollow back in relief piece of brass with a gilt wash, depicting a stallion with saddle and bridle. The accoutrements are in bright gilt, the horse's body is in a semi-matt finish. There are a bolt and nut finishing to the reverse.
~ Condition ~
The gilt is worn in places, otherwise fine.
~ Dimensions ~
The horse is 25 cm (9.75 inches) wide by 21 cm (8.25 inches) tall.
