A lovely Victorian ladies purse.

The purse is of tortoise shell with leather and brass edging, opening to reveal a red silk lining.

The tortoise shell has mother of pearl and rose gold decoration to the front.

The reverse is of plain tortoise shell.

~ Dimensions ~

The purse measures 8cm x 6cm.

It weighs 60g.

~ Condition ~

The leather has a few small splits and the lining has some age wear.

The tortoise shell has some surface wear both front and back, with some loss of the gold decoration, but has no cracks or splits.

The purse overall has age wear commensurate with age but for such a delicate and well used item, is still in a very nice condition and presents well.
