~ A Victorian Whitby Jet Brooch ~
The c1890 brooch is made from the English stone Jet and features a set of leaves surrounded by a circle of stars. It has a matt black finish. The central panel was carved seperately to the border.

The brooch has a diameter of 1.5 inches (3.75cm). It weighs 10g.
~ Condition ~
Aside from some minor surface wear, the brooch is in good condition.
