~ Vintage Childs Christening Gown ~

The gown is of soft white cotton with lace panels to bodice. With floral embroidery and further lace panels to bottom hem.

It has lace trimmed collar and sleeves with blue ribbon decoration.

The bodice is fastened with mother-of-pearl style heart shaped buttons.

Below the gown is a simple cotton one-piece undergarment with elasticated neck.

Dimensions when laid flat:

21cm (8 ¼ inches) across the shoulders

23.5cm (9 ¼ inches) across the waist

85cm (33 ½ inches) total length

~ Condition ~

There are some dark marks to reverse and some yellow age spots here and there.

One of the buttonholes is a little stretched.

The gown overall is in decent condition with no damages.
