A lovely vintage, probably hand-made wooden birdcage. It was used to display small birds at shows before they were returned to the aviary.

The cage doors are hand-painted with images of horses to the front and with images of birds to the inside.

The face of the cage measures 54cm (21 inches) by 50cm (19 ½ inches).

The cage has a depth of 20cm (8 inches).

It weighs 6.06 Kg

The piece is in good overall condition commensurate with age and is free from damage.
