~ Vintage Post Office Scales & Weights ~

A lovely vintage (early to mid 20th century) set of GPO Post Office scales with matching set of weights.

The scales originally came from a Post Office in Copnor, Portsmouth.

The scales are of cast iron painted black, and have a copper tray.

The scales are marked GPO (General Post Office) to both parts.

The scales come with the original set of 7 weights, each marked GPO.

~ Dimensions ~

The scales measure 46cm (18 inches) by 30.5cm (12 inches) by 25.5cm (10 inches).

The set has a total weight of 19.2 Kg (scales - 8.9 Kg, Weights - 10.3 Kg).

~ Condition ~

The set is in a very nice used condition with no damage.
