WW1 Imperial pocket watch in commemorative case, good open faced pocket watch in unmarked silver case.
White enamel face with subsidiary dial.
Back of the case is engraved with “Wilhelm Hennerschmidt 1914/16.
Housed in a nickel silver outer case with the reverse having the Iron Cross motif set upon imperial flags with 1914 above.
Probably purchased for a serving officer at the front.
Appears to be working but sold as a display item, not a working time piece.
Leather pouch still supple showing signs of wear to edges at the opening and only one leather tie still attached.
The watch has some minor dents to the front edges and wear from handling which has worn the milled finish to the rear, the case openings still work well and the watch runs when wound.
The case seems in reasonable condition with a minor dent to window surround.
