WW1 Souvenir Mills Bomb Money Box with George V Sixpences

This is one of the iconic British Mills bombs, converted into a money box. The grenade contains some George V sixpence coins and is mounted on a stand that reads, “Money-box as used by the allies REG No. 655472 – REG No. 646000, Memento of the Great War, Actual Hand Grenade”. This would make an great decorative piece and collector’s item.

The grenade is in excellent condition some minor marks but no damage and minimal wear. The base has multiple chips but remains strong and all writing is still clear. Please see pictures for more detail.
