~ WW2 2nd Pattern Fairbairn Sykes Commando Dagger Fighting Knife #1 ~
Genuine 2nd pattern commando knife and leather scabbard for sale. As one of 3 patterns uses in WW2, the 2nd pattern knife was adopted from August 1941-October 1943. These knives were used by specialist’s commando forces of the British and Commonwealth forces. This knife notably used a flat hand guard but still retained the brass textured grip.
The Fairbairn Sykes knife is in good condition. There are some remnants of a parkerized finish on the stop of the blade. The leather scabbard is otherwise in very good condition. Please refer to the images as a part of our condition report.
