This item is a 4.5 inch shell from a British Navy cannon from 1939. It stands at roughly 69.5cm (27.4 inches) and has a base diameter of 16.8cm (6.6 inches). The base is inscribed with “4.5 Gun VI Lot 53 ICI 1939 CF”

The Shell is in good condition for its age and has some marks and scratches around its surface. Please see pictures for more detail as they form part of our condition report.
