Description

This is a lead lined, wooden box for German artillery fuzes. The box would have contained electrical fuzes used by the German Army during World War 2. The box is lead lined and features a label with the types of fuzes listed and the date (1940).

Condition

The box is in good condition for its age and usage. It has a few very minor marks and scratches and the lead lining has areas of oxidisation. Please see pictures for more detail.
