~ WW2 RAF Universal Bomb Carrier No. 1 Mark III ~
The number 1 Mark III universal bomb carrier is a British-designed device for carrying and releasing bombs having one or three suspension hinges.
The carrier is electronically controlled and provides selective arming of the bombs. The Universal Bomb Carrier as implied would have been
fitted to most RAF bombers up to 550LB. The carrier shows a crow's foot and a serial number, AT60193.
