Bronze sculpture depicting “CARABINIERE”. With engraving on the base “Statue of the national monument – to the carabiniere – Turin – Sculptor E. Rubino” and the Laganà Napoli foundry brand on the back. This is an excellent original copy of the large, life-sized “Monument to Caribinieri” in the garden of the Royal Palace, Turin by Edoardo RUBINO.
On the back of the pedestal it bears the stamp of the Fonderia Artistica Laganà, one of the most important foundries in Naples, founded in 1890 by Giovanni Amedeo Laganà, a patron and collector of art, who gathered around him the best specialists in wax casting, chiselling and bronze in Naples.
