SS Stalhelm Third Reich WW2 M42
Black Parade Helmet for the SS used in guards of honour and on certain parades and duties.
The M42 was a late war production with raw edges and a one piece pressed shell to speed up production and save on costs. The liner is original and it looks as if the original colour was Grey/Green but it would have been repainted at the time for parade use. We believe that the chinstrap has been replaced which is very common.
*Condition*
This helmet has lost a lot of paint to the crown and other places due to its use and careless storage. The Decal is still clear. Please see the pictures as they form part of our condition report.
