A charming earthenware figure of a kitten by the Norfolk based potter Jenny Winstanley.

Winstanley was producing these hand-made kittens and cats (and sometimes hares) from the 1950’s through to 2004.

The kitten is hand-painted in a mottled grey and white colour and features beautiful glass eyes.

It is signed to the base.

The kitten measures 11.5cm (4 ½ inches) in height by 10cm (4 inches) in length.

It weighs 225g

The piece is in lovely condition with no damage.
