~ WW2 Mounted Minesweeper Bell 1942 ~
A Second World War era bell from a naval minesweeper ship.
This is a small bell most likely used in the cockpit/control deck of the ship.
The bell is suspended from a wooden stand and is complete with its clapper and chain pull.
The bell is marked and dated to the top ‘A.S. 1942’ and bears the military broad arrow.
It is otherwise unmarked so we are not able to know which ship it came from.

The bell has a diameter of 13cm (5 ¼ inches) and a height of 10cm (4 inches).
The stand has a height of 35cm (13 ¾ inches) and a base diameter of 26.5cm (10 ½ inches).
Together they weigh 1.97 Kg.
~ Condition ~
The bell is in a great condition with a nice patina, minimal wear and no damages.
The stand is also in a great condition with no damages.
