There is a date aperture at the 3 o’clock position.
The dial is reads ‘Garrard, Automatic, Swiss Made’.
The watch has a 9ct gold case with an inscription on the back dated 1950 (see images).
The case is hallmarked for 9ct gold. The hallmark is very worn and does not show on the photos provided but can just about be seen by eye or with a magnifier.
The watch has a 25 Jewel, Swiss made, automatic movement.
The watch comes on a fairly new, brown leather strap.
