~ Victorian Walnut Brass And Mother Of Pearl Inlaid Writing Slope ~
The piece has a mother of pearl cartouche to the lid and another to the keyhole.
Inside is a folding writing slope covered in gilt lined maroon velvet, a removable pen rest compartment, another smaller compartment and two spaces for ink bottles, one of which is present (without a stopper).
