A framed World War Two medal pair and related items issued to an Arthur Benson A.B.R.N.
According to records, Arthur Benson was born in 1899 in Carlisle, Cumberland. He served on board HMS Canada during the First World War and left the services in 1919.
The set is comprised of a British War Medal 1914-1918, a Victory Medal, a cut down ‘dot’ HMS Canada cap tally and a Royal Navy Jacket
button.
The medals are both inscribed to the edge ‘J 74105 A. Benson A.B.R.N.’.
The pieces are mounted and presented in a period glazed, ebonised wood frame with framers label to reverse.
