The defensive emplacement (“Verteidigungsstellung”) set is comprised of a total of 19 individual pieces.
Some are marked/labeled on the base “ELASTOLIN Germany” and some “LINEOL Germany”.

. A small camouflaged bunker (labeled Elastolin 1935-42 and stamped with the maker’s black stamp)
. A wired trench section (labeled Elastoline)
. 12 x German infantry soldiers depicted in various poses (10 marked with Elastoline and two with Lineol)
. 2 officers (marked Lineol).
The figures are made of composite material.
The emplacements are made of hardboard, wood, paper mache and metal wire.

The wire emplacement section has a width of 12.6 inches (32 cm), a depth of 6.7 inches (17 cm) and a height of 2 inches (5 cm).
The bunker emplacement section has a width of 12.6 inches (32 cm), a depth of 6.7 inches (17 cm) and a height of 3.1 inches (8 cm).
The wired trench section has a width of 9.5 inches (24 cm), a depth of 5.1 inches (13 cm) and a height of 3.8 inches (7 cm).
The small camouflaged bunker has a width of 5.9 inches (15 cm), a depth of 4 inches (10 cm) and a height of 3.5 inches (9 cm).
The wire section has a width of 12.6 inches (32 cm), a depth of 3.5 inches (9 cm) and a height of 2.1 inches (5.5 cm).
The tallest soldier is 3.3 inches (8.5 cm) and the shortest is 2.8 inches (7 cm).
The set weighs 1.4 kg.
~ Condition ~
The set overall condition is very good. The emplacement have minor paint cracks and someparts musthave been glued back, because some pieces of them began to detach.
Two of the soldiers are missing their rifles. There is some minor paint loss on them.
The composite material has degraded especially on their legs and started to crack, revealing the metal frame underneath.
