~ 1973 9ct Yellow Gold Sapphire & Quartz Flower Head Ring UK Size O+ US 7 ½ ~
This is a lovely flower shaped ring with a round-cut sapphire to the centre surrounded by six round-cut quartz stones. The quartz stones are divided up with bands of gold.
The band is of plain gold with split shoulders.
The ring is hallmarked to the inside of the band for 9ct gold, London, 1973. It also has a makers stamp of ‘HM’ or possibly ‘WH’.
~ Dimensions ~
The sapphire is approximately 2.0 carats (3.5mm diameter). The quartz stones are approximately 0.05 carats (2.5mm diameter) each. The ring is a UK size O+ which is a US size 7 ½. It weighs 2.4g.
~ Condition ~
The ring is in lovely second hand condition. The stones are free from chips and shiny.
