~ Sterling Silver London 1899 Repousse Rose Bowl ~
A fine repousse silver bowl with a fluted body, scroll work and floral spray.
It is hallmarked for London, 1899 and was made by Robert James Chaplin & Sons of Aldersgate Street, London.
The cartouche panel reads…
“A token of esteem and appreciation of the late Mr. J. H. Butlers’ many years proprietorship “The Bucks Free Press” from the employees June 1919″
~ Condition ~
There are a couple of small creases to the inner stand. It presents well.
~ Dimensions ~
The bowl is 17.5 cm (7.75 inches) in diameter and is 11 cm (4.25 inches) tall. It weighs 260.4 g.
