The wooden case opens up to reveal two interior compartments. The exterior is decorated with two bands of inlaid marquetry and a central marquetry cartouche.
The caddy rests on four bun feet.
It comes with its key.

The tea caddy has a few minor knocks and a few areas of loss to the marquetry. The lock is in good working order.

The tea caddy is 17.5 cm (7 inches) wide, 10 cm (4 inches) deep and 10 cm (4 inches) tall.
