~ William Moorcroft Celadon Pansy Comport ~

The comport plate stands on a silver plate foot, fastened together with a central rosette.

The plate has eight tube lined pansy flower in yellow and puce with the associated leaves over a celadon green gradated ground.

The underside of the stand is stamped B&V Ltd EPC 402.

It dates to around 1920.

~ Condition ~

There are a couple of hairline cracks to the underside of the rim, these do not appear on the upper side. There is general crazing to the glaze. Otherwise in very good order.

~ Dimensions ~

The comport has a diameter of 19 cm (7.5 inches) and is 10 cm (4 inches) tall.
