The 1796 Pattern Cavalry Sabre is a historic sword that was used by British cavalry units during the late 18th and early 19th centuries. It was a primary weapon for cavalrymen in the British Army during the Napoleonic Wars and beyond. The sword features a curved, 30 inch blade and a brass stirrup-shaped hilt.

This sword has some even pitting across the blade and some wear to the grip. Please see pictures for more detail as they form part of our condition report.
