~ 1946 9ct Gold Kendal & Dent London Open Faced Manual Wind Pocket Watch ~
A very fine 9ct light rose gold top winding, open faced pocket watch.
The case, crown and bow are all of 9ct yellow gold.
The dial is of white enamel with minute increments around the circumference and Roman numerals for the hours.
The hands are of blued steel.
At the 6 o’clock position is a seconds dial with a blued steel sweeping hand.
The dial is named “Kendal & Dent London, Makers to the Admiralty”
The inside of the case back is fully hallmarked ‘375’ & ‘9’ for 9ct gold, Birmingham 1946. It is also stamped with a makers mark of ‘W.E’ William Ehrhardt Ltd and a serial no. ‘169’.
The movement is stamped ‘Safety Pinion’ and with a serial no. of ‘624901’.

The watch has a diameter of 2 inches (4.8 cm). It weighs 99 g.
~ Condition ~
No damage to the glass, though the case has the typical amount of age wearing including scratches and other example of wear. No major dents or damage. It is in good working order though the hand adjustment is a little temperamental.
