~ 9ct Gold & Enamel Kings Crown Royal Engineers Sweet Heart Badge ~
The front of the badge reads “Honi soit qui mal y pense” the motto of the Royal Engineers which means “Shame be to him who thinks evil of it.” Below this are the words “Royal Engineers.”
The badge is marked on the back of the bar with “W.H.H” which was the makers mark for W H Haseler Ltd from 1898 to 1937 and 9CT for the gold quality.

The bar of the badge is 4.8 cm wide. The central badge is approximately 1.5 cm in diameter. The badge weighs 2.5 grams.
~ Condition ~
The badge is in very good condition. The enamel is complete. The reverse has silver solder lines where the badge has been attached to the bar.
