The Invicta Watch Group was a watch company founded in 1837 in Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. They created luxury watches at
affordable prices.
The brand was re-established in 1991 when the brand was acquired by an American company and are still in production today.
This watch dates to just after the end of the Second World War.
The watch has a 9ct yellow gold case, hallmarked to the interior of the case -back for 9ct gold, London, 1946 with a makers mark of
‘H&S’. There is also a small hallmark on the side of the bezel.

blued steel hands and features a subsidiary seconds dial at the six o’clock position.
The dial is named ‘Invicta’.

The case-back has been hand etched with what we can presume is the original owners name and address which reads ‘H. Parker, 1
Station Rd, Woodville, B-?’.
The watch has a 15 Jewel , manual wind movement named ‘Seeland Watch Co., Swiss’.
It comes on a modern black leather strap.

The crystal has a few small scratches and some ‘crackling’ around the outer circumference.
The dial is a little dirty with some wear in parts but still presents quite well.
The case has light wear commensurate with age, some scratching etc (and could do with a clean).
The case back is hinged but the pin is long gone. The back snaps into place though and is perfectly secure.
The strap is in good order.
The watch is in good working condition.
