This is an original piece. A shield shaped bronze plaque which depicts an iron glove holding a submarine.
~ HMS Riveros ~
The Almirante class were two destroyers built for the Chilean Navy by Vickers in Barrow in Furness UK. She was launched in 1958 and commissioned in 1960. Their weapons and largely Marconi sensors were in advance of the RN Daring class.

The crest has a height of 5 ½ inches (14.3 cm) and a width of 3 ½ inches (9.1 cm)
Weight approx 0.605Kg.

The crest is in fair condition for its age, with minimal wear and no damage.
