The inkwell is in the form of a capstan with a beautiful guilloche enamel topped hinged lid.

The inkwell is hallmarked for sterling silver, Birmingham, 1924.

The inkwell has a diameter of 7cm (2 ¾ inches) and a height of 3.5cm (1 ½ inches).

~ Condition ~

There are a few minor dings/marks to the silver but overall the piece is in a nice condition. The enamel is free from any damage.

The lid doesn’t quite shut firmly.
